Introducing i4Vu

i4Vu has developed a client-server platform which enables a unique mobile and multiscreen video experience - providing consumers with Content, Customization, Convenience, and Control.

Applications built with the i4Vu Client modules allow users to select a live video playlist from a palette of all available live, linear, on-demand, and online programs. Touching the i4Vu "Play" button then activates the i4Vu Server to instantly begin streaming the user's selections in a live mosaic presentation, customized to the form factor and resolution of the viewing device. The i4Vu Platform allows the user or operator to move videos between primary and secondary viewing positions, and to make new or different selections instantly, all without interrupting the video streaming to the user device's native video player. The Platform also employs both adaptive streaming and a unique bandwidth management algorithm to ensure optimum performance across varying network conditions.
